Count every stitch.
Finish every frame.

The Toolkit

Everything a stitcher keeps in their head — kept for you instead.

Four workbenches built around the way needlework actually happens: on the sofa, mid-row, with a chart on your knee and half a skein of 725 somewhere in the tin.

01

Interactive Camera Grid & Pattern Scanner

Your chart, your fabric, one live overlay

Camera Pattern Overlay

Photograph a paper chart or your canvas and drop a true-to-count stitch grid straight onto the image, aligned and scalable.

Progress Marker & Counter

Tick off finished blocks, bank your stitch count and spotlight the zone you're working now — so you never lose your place mid-row again.

High-Resolution WIP Shots

Capture the piece row by row and watch a visual timeline build itself, from the first cross to the last backstitch.

02

Floss Inventory & Thread Calculator

Skeins, counts and canvas math, settled

Thread Converter & Calculator

Work out exactly how many skeins a design needs across DMC, Anchor and Madeira, adjusted for your fabric count and strand choice.

Floss Stash Vault

A full digital inventory of the colours you already own — so the shop trip never ends with a third bobbin of 310.

Fabric Size Calculator

Design size plus your preferred border margin, converted into the exact canvas cut for 14, 16 and 18 count Aida or evenweave linen.

03

Project Gallery & Crafting Diary

Every WIP, every finish, properly filed

Completed Works Archive

Finished pieces stored with framing notes, start and finish dates and any comment you want to remember three projects later.

WIP Project Cards

Run several pieces at once with live completion percentages, active colour lists and difficulty tags on each card.

Stitch Speed Tracker

Log the time you actually spend stitching and see your average stitches per hour, broken down by fabric type.

04

Stitching Calendar & Completion Analytics

Goals, streaks and honest forecasts

Completion Date Estimator

Your daily stitch average, turned into a realistic finish date — updated every time your pace changes.

Marathon Calendar

Set daily stitch goals, schedule craft-along challenges and build the kind of streak that turns a UFO into a finish.

Full Offline Access

Charts, stash and calculators all work with no signal at all — on the train, in the garden, at a retreat with one bar.

Live Demo

Pick a floss. Place a stitch. Watch the math run.

A working slice of ThreadyWeddy, right here in the page: chart on the left, canvas calculator on the right. Click or drag across the Aida to stitch — the counters update as you go.

Counted Chart Sandbox

24 × 14 cells

Choose a shade from the floss tray, then draw. Toggle the unpicker to lift stitches out.

0Skeins ≈
0mEst. stitch time

Estimates assume 2 strands on 14 ct and a 420 stitches / hour pace — in the app both numbers come from your own logged sessions.

Fabric Cut Calculator

Aida · Linen

Design size in stitches plus your border margin, returned as the piece of fabric to actually cut.

Design size10.00 × 12.86 in
Design size (metric)25.4 × 32.7 cm
Cut fabric to16.00 × 18.86 in
Cut fabric (metric)40.6 × 47.9 cm
Total stitches25,200
Full coverage ≈17 skeins

Margins are counted on every side, so a 3 in border adds 6 in overall — comfortable for a hoop, a scroll frame or a finished mount.

About Us

Made by stitchers who kept losing
their place on row 47.

🧵

Who we are

We're a small studio of cross-stitchers, hand embroiderers and stubborn hobby engineers who got tired of tracking projects on sticky notes and highlighter-scarred photocopies. ThreadyWeddy is the tool we kept wishing existed on the arm of the sofa — a counter, a pattern organiser and a floss inventory that finally live in one place.

🪡

Our mission

To take the admin out of needlework and hand the craft back. Every feature we build answers a real bench question: how many skeins of 3812, how big a piece of 16 count to cut, how far into this WIP am I really, and when will it actually be finished?

📐

What you get

A camera that overlays a live stitch grid on your chart, progress markers that hold your place, WIP cards with completion percentages and difficulty tags, calculators for DMC, Anchor and Madeira threads and Aida or linen canvas, a stash vault that stops duplicate purchases, and a diary of photos, dates and framing notes for every finished piece.

🏡

Why it matters

Your work stays yours. Everything runs on your device and works completely offline, so pattern photos, stash lists and stitch counts are as private as the tin under your chair — and just as available on a train, in a garden or at a retreat with no signal.

One stitch at a time — we'll keep the count.

Privacy Policy

No accounts. No servers. No data leaving your hoop.

ThreadyWeddy: Cross-Stitch — Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 12, 2026

ThreadyWeddy: Cross-Stitch is built as an entirely on-device application. It does not collect, store on our side, transmit, or share any personal information whatsoever. There is no sign-up, no profile, no server behind the app. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what that means for the charts, photographs, floss inventories and counters you keep inside it.

01 Information We Collect

We collect nothing. The app asks for no name, no email address, no phone number, no username or password, no location, no device identifier and no advertising ID. There are no analytics events, no crash telemetry sent to us, and no hidden background reporting.

Everything you create — WIP project cards, stitch counts, progress markers, floss stash entries, thread conversions, fabric calculations, stitching goals, diary notes, camera photos of patterns and progress shots of your work — is written only to the storage of the device you are using and stays there.

02 How We Use Information

Because nothing is gathered, there is nothing for us to use. We do not read, profile, analyse, mine, aggregate, rent, sell or trade your content, and we do not build any behavioural picture of how you stitch.

Every function of the app — the camera grid overlay, the stitch counter, the DMC, Anchor and Madeira calculators, the Aida and linen sizing tools, the completion-date forecasts and the speed tracker — runs locally with your device's own processor. Nothing is sent anywhere to make those features work.

03 Data Storage

All app data is held in local storage on your device, inside the app's own sandbox. We operate no cloud service, no database and no synchronisation layer for user content, so there is no copy of your work on any server we control.

Photographs deserve a specific note: images you capture of paper charts, canvas fabric or your stitching in progress are processed on the device to draw the interactive grid, and are saved on the device only. They are never uploaded, never mirrored and never queued for transfer.

04 Third-Party Services

ThreadyWeddy does not embed third-party analytics platforms, advertising networks, attribution or tracking SDKs, social login providers, or crash-reporting services that transmit user content. No third party receives your inventory, your photographs, your notes or your usage patterns, because nothing is transmitted in the first place.

05 Data Security

The strongest protection we can offer is architectural: data that never travels cannot be intercepted, and data we never hold cannot be breached on our side. Your content is confined to your device and protected by that device's own operating-system safeguards, including the lock screen, user account separation and app sandboxing.

We recommend keeping your device software current and a screen lock enabled, since physical access to an unlocked device is the only realistic route to the information stored in the app.

06 Children's Privacy

The app is safe for crafters of every age, including young stitchers learning their first sampler. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, and that includes children under the age of 13 — consistent with the principles of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Since no information is collected from any user, there is no children's data for a parent or guardian to review, correct or ask us to delete.

07 Your Control

You hold complete control over everything in the app. Individual projects, photos, diary entries and stash records can be edited or removed inside ThreadyWeddy at any moment, and removing the app from your device permanently erases all of the data it holds.

Because we keep no accounts and run no cloud backups, deletion is final and there is no remote copy for you to chase, no export request to file and no support ticket needed to be forgotten.

08 Changes to This Policy

If the app gains new features, this policy may be revised so it continues to describe the app accurately, and the Effective Date at the top will be updated when that happens. Any revision will be published within the app and on this page.

Our no-collection commitment is the foundation of the product; should that ever change in any way, we would say so clearly and prominently rather than quietly amending the small print.

09 Contact

Questions about this policy, or about how the app handles anything you put into it, are always welcome. Write to us at privacy@threadyweddyapp.com and a member of the team will answer personally.

By using ThreadyWeddy: Cross-Stitch, you acknowledge that you have read this policy and understand that the app functions entirely offline and on-device.

Questions, bug reports, feature wishes, praise for a particularly stubborn WIP: all of it is welcome, and all of it gets read by someone who stitches.

⏱️ We answer every message within 24 to 48 hours — usually sooner, unless a big finish is on the frame.
